TRANSFER: ARSENAL ATTRACKS MANU KONE

Arsenal have reportedly agreed terms with Roma midfielder Manu Kone as the summer transfer window opens. Kone has joined his first major tournament with France this summer, having helped Roma to third place in Serie A this season in what was an impressive campaign for the 25 year old. Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen to bolster his title-winning squad over the coming months, with three or four major signings to build on a side who also reached the Champions League final. The Gunners are said to be going all out for Kone and according to emerging reports in Italy, the club have agreed personal terms with the midfielder who Roma are seeking to sell for around £40M.
