Bayern Munich came from behind to beat
Manchester United on Wednesday evening
and secure a 4-2 aggregate win to reach the
Champions League semi-finals.
After a first half lacking in chances, Patrice
Evra stunned the Allianz Arena with a
wonderstrike from 25 yards to give the
English side a shock lead, only for Mario
Mandzukic to equalise just 73 seconds later.
The newly crowned Bundesliga champions
then took control of the tie and were two
goals to the good just 17 minutes later after
Thomas Muller and Arjen Robben beat David
de Gea from inside the area.
