The Chelsea boss has received a
warning regarding his behaviour from
the English Football Association after
re-entering the field of play during the
defeat at Villa Park
Jose Mourinho has been fined £8,000 by the
Football Association for his conduct during
Chelsea's 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa .
Mourinho was charged with improper
conduct after re-entering the field of play to
approach match referee Chris Foy in the 90th
minute of the loss at Villa Park.
The Chelsea boss denied the charge and
requested a personal hearing, but the ruling
was upheld on Wednesday. Mourinho was
also warned with regards to his future
conduct.
Foy sent off Willian for two bookable offences
during the defeat, before Ramires was shown
a straight red card for a foul on Karim El
Ahmadi.
Mourinho was eventually sent to the stands
by Foy and after the game suggested he
should not be sent to referee Chelsea games
in the future.
"Maybe it's helpful that the [referee's]
committee doesn't send him [Foy] to our
matches," Mourinho told reporters.
"I don't have the right to request [that]. It's
just I think they have to analyse the situation
and see if every time he has Chelsea - or not
every time - but many times he has Chelsea
and problems are there, I think maybe it
would be a good decision."
