WORLD CUP:Der Kaiser rubbishes Ghana threat

Franz Beckenbauer has
dismissed all the Group G
opponents ahead of what is a
group of death in Brazil.
The legendary German is synonymous with
World Cup history but feels Ghana will be no
problem.
The Mannshaft have won the World Cup three
times and are a stupendous force in every
tournament.
“Let’s take a look at the group that contains
Germany, USA, Ghana and Portugal. The
group is not especially strong and not
especially weak,” Der Kaiser began.
“Most groups are mixed rather well, with an
exception: The group with Italy, England and
Uruguay.
“The US team develop constantly, have good
players, but not strongly enough to endanger
Germany.
“In the same role I see Ghana. And Portugal
exists to me too much of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Germany will take this group.”
The three other teams will feel emboldened
by these comments to play harder against
their more illustrious European counterparts
who are firm favorites.
