TRANSFER RUMOURS: Arsenal prepares to build up

Emirates Stadium side look to bring in
players with proven English top tier
experience.
Arsene Wenger's push to strengthen his
squad this summer will see the Arsenal boss
plot moves for three Premier League talents
as he opts to target players with experience
of plying their trade in the English top tier.
CaughtOffside understands that Wenger is
ready to pen a new two year contract
extension and will be handed a significant
transfer war-chest as motivation to commit
to the north London club.
Wenger has all but given up hope of
persuading French international Bacary
Sagna to remain at the Emirates Stadium and
as such will look to land adaptable Man City
defender Micah Richards, who is looking to
re-ignite his stuttering career.

The 25 year old England man has made just
two Premier League starts and wants a fresh
challenge and is said to be open to a move to
join Arsenal with Wenger ready to offer £8m
for the Man City man.
It will take a significantly large bid for
Arsenal to secure another target, Swansea
City striker Wilfried Bony, with Wenger
looking to bring in much needed attacking
additions.
Wenger has scouted the Ivory Coast
international on a number of occasions this
term and is ready to offer up to £20m for the
former Vitesse Arnhem man, who has scored
25 goals in his debut season at the Liberty
Stadium.
The powerful marksman has done superbly
well since moving to Swansea City and his
ability to score goals against top opposition
has not gone unnoticed.
Bony has netted against Arsenal, Liverpool,
Tottenham, Man United and Man City during
the current campaign and Wenger wants the
25 year old to support Olivier Giroud in his
attack, with Lukas Podolski potentially set
for a move back to Bundesliga.
Wenger will then look to secure the services
of Southampton tough tackler Morgan
Schneiderlin to help offer some much needed
additional steel in his Arsenal midfield.
Mikel Arteta may well be set to leave Arsenal
this summer whilst Mathieu Flamini has only
been used in a limited role this season
leaving Wenger keen to bring in additional
defensive midfield options.
Arsenal will offer Southampton up to £12m
for the Frenchman.
