EPL: Mourinho to sell Luiz

Stamford Bridge side willing to cash-in on Brazilian.
Chelsea are ready to accept a £25m bid from Barcelona for fan favourite David Luiz according to the Daily Mirror.

The Catalan side are confident of having their transfer ban overturned and have set about drawing up a list of summer targets with a number of changes expected at the
Nou Camp, not least with boss Gerardo Martino expected to leave the club to take over as Argentine national team coach after
the 2014 World Cup finals.

Luiz has been used on a limited basis by Jose Mourinho this season, handing the 26 year old just 15 starts out of 35 Premier League fixtures, and in a similar situation to Juan Mata it seems that the Chelsea
manager is ready to cash-in on a player who is not a significant part of his plans.

Mourinho is keen to adopt a sensible
approach during the transfer window and will look to trim his squad ahead of bring in a fair few new additions, much as he did in January.

Luiz played a key role in Chelsea's
Champions League and Europa League triumphs but may now feel the time is right to leave the west London club and a move to replace veteran Carles Puyol at Barcelona is
sure to tempt the former Benfica man.
