EPL: Eden Hazard out of Liverpool clash; maybe Champions League

Jose Mourinho has revealed that
Eden Hazard will certainly miss
Sunday’s crucial league match
against Liverpool and could even
miss the return-leg of the
Champions League semi-final
against Atletico Madrid.
Hazard picked up an injury in Chelsea’s
quarter-final second-leg against Paris
Saint-Germain on April 8th and has not
played since.
The club were hopeful that the Belgian
international would at least be fit for the
semi-final at Stamford Bridge but Mourinho
seemed less confident about his chances.
Speaking in the press conference at the
club’s stadium ahead of the Premier League
match against Liverpool, Mourinho spoke
about Hazard’s situation.
“Hazard is out for Sunday's game (against
Liverpool), I don't think he will make
Wednesday (against Atletico) but let's wait,”
Mourinho told reporters.
Liverpool currently sit top of the league table,
five points clear of Chelsea with just three
games remaining.
Chelsea then host Atletico just three days
later with the tie finely poised after the 0-0
draw on Tuesday at the Vicente Calderon.
