EPL: Moyes may be on his way out

Old Trafford boss likely to be sacked and
may not even last until the end of the current
campaign.
Man United boss David Moyes is edging ever
nearer an Old Trafford exit after another
abject display and an eleventh Premier
League defeat of the season.
CaughtOffside understands that the Scot is
set to be replaced and may not even last out
the season with the under-fire manager said
to have lost the dressing room.
Even in the context of a disastrous season
Man United's limp defeat away at Everton
was particularly clueless and Moyes looked
bereft of ideas to rectify the situation whilst
standing forlornly on the touchline.
A complete lack of purpose, direction and
desire were the features of Man United's 2-0
loss at Goodison Park that now leaves Man
United staring an unthinkable seventh placed
finish straight in the face.
Man United's owners have privately already
started the process of looking for a
replacement but will have more chance of
completing any move for a successor to
Moyes once the current campaign has come
to a close.
The Glazers are ready to sack Moyes in the
knowledge that bringing the former Everton
manager's six year contract to an abrupt and
early end will cost them dear though there is
thought to be a clause that prevents Man
United having to foot the bill for the entirety
of his deal.
Man United are thought to be keen on
appointing Dutch national team coach Louis
van Gaal, who clearly won't be available
until after the 2014 World Cup finals and
another high ranking target is Borussia
Dortmund's Jurgen Klopp who may be the
subject of an imminent approach.
With Borussia Dortmund having been
knocked out of the Champions League and
with Bayern Munich having sewn up the
Bundesliga title Klopp may already be
considering his options and a fresh challenge
at Man United after six years at the
Westfalenstadion may tempt the charismatic
46 year old German.
