Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel
Frimpong could be set to represent Ghana
at this summer's World Cup despite moving
to Championship side Barnsley in January.
The 22-year-old struggled to make the
grade under Arsene Wenger, playing only 16
first team games after coming through the
club's academy.
He moved to Oakwell for an undisclosed fee
on deadline day in January but has
struggled to make an impact for Danny
Wilson's side, making just eight league
appearances and missing their last six
games.
